Description

Welcome to Apalach Moon Guest House & Gallery!

Beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, the Apalach Moon Guest House & Gallery is the perfect long weekend getaway or long term stay. Complete with original wood floors and high ceilings, the Apalach Moon feels like a step back into old Florida charm but with updated furnishings and modern amenities.

Inside, you’ll be welcomed by a renovated kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The living room with large, flat screen TV and DVD player overlooks the garden and an all-wood ceiling adds warmth and richness to a comfortably relaxing space. A propane grill can be found on the back porch which leads to the spacious, gated courtyard where you can unwind with a glass of wine or enjoy lunch in the garden.

Each of the 3 bedrooms include a comfortable Queen-size bed with plush pillows and dreamy bed linen. The Master bedroom features a large, open bath concept with garden tub and separate walk-in shower. The second bathroom with walk-in shower and full size washer/dryer is located just off of the main living space.

An additional sitting area at the front of the home is a lovely conversation space or reading room or you can step outside to relax on the covered front porch with views of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the historic Chestnut Street Cemetery, rich with Southern history.

Modern conveniences include Hi-speed WiFi, cable and central heat & air conditioning.

Also featured throughout the cottage are photographs of local flora and wildlife. All numbered photographs in the Apalach Moon Guest House & Gallery are available for sale.

Explore Apalachicola’s rich past in this historic district with various museums such as the Orman House, John Gorrie State Museum, Apalachicola Maritime Museum and more. Downtown Apalachicola offers shopping and dining at a number of specialty stores, art galleries and eateries featuring local seafood and southern meals. Book an adventure on the Apalachicola River and Bay or drive to nearby St. George Island or Cape San Blas to play in white sand beaches and blue/green Gulf waters. 2 bicycles available, parking limited to 2-3 vehicles.
